The High Quality Standard
Pear Cable sets the high quality standard with the Comice Power
Cable line of Car Audio power cables.
Comice Power Cables are ultra-flexible, corrosion resistant, and
have slim-line jackets to make them leaders of the pack. They also
happen to be some of the only car audio power cables in the industry
that are actually made in the USA. If you are tired of worrying
about missing strands (undersized cables), inferior materials, or
cables that can't be installed due to flexibility problems, you
need Comice Power Cables.
Offered in 2 colors (yellow and black), and 3 gauges (8 AWG, 4 AWG,
1/0 AWG), you will not find a higher quality, or more installation
friendly, power cable.
COMICE POWER CABLE TECHNICAL DETAILS:
Ultra-Flexible
You will be simply amazed at the flexibility of these cables. With
4214 individual conductor strands configured utilizing a super-flexible
winding construction, our 1/0 AWG power cable flexes like putty.
Tinned OFC Conductors
Tin plated oxygen free copper, fully annealed, is used throughout
the Comice Power Cable line. Tin plating gives far better corrosion
protection under the hood than either copper or silver. Sulfur compounds
present in gaseous form around an engine as well as sulfuric acid
from batteries will attack a silver plated cable, but tin plating
will resist corrosion. These power cables will stand the test of
time in the harsh auto environment. While plating is detrimental
to sound quality in interconnects, and speaker cables, it does not
hurt the sound quality of power cables. Power cables deliver DC
current, and are therefore not vulnerable to frequency smearing.
Slim-Line Jacket
Comice Power Cables feature slim line outer jackets for ease of
installation. Slim-line jackets mean smaller outer diameters and
greater flexibility. These cables also exhibit excellent resistance
to oil and heat, and are rated for 600 Volts at 105 degrees C.
